7Puentes, as part of the academic community, evangelizes and shares its state-of-art knowledge regarding Big Data and Data Science. For that purpose, we developed a local and international intense academic activity. Under the leadership of Ernesto Mislej, partner of 7Puentes and responsible of the Data Science area, the company recently participated on prestigious meetings and trainings.
At the beginning of September, the 44th Argentine Conference on Informatics (JAIIO) was held at the City of Rosario, Santa Fe province. There, in parallel sessions, academic works were presented, research results were discussed and activities from different matters were developed.
“In the JAIIO, 7Puentes, for the third time in a row, gave a Workshop on Big Data, where we tried to explain what this concept means and why the current context requires Big Data’s intervention in different fields of society; that is, in its different areas of application,” explained Mislej.
The conference continued with the participation of our company in Argentine Workshop on Data Science organized by the Master in Data Mining of the University of Buenos Aires. “The meeting dealt with different practical cases and aimed to think about to what extent Big Data is transforming the public administration and the productive sector, creating value in the government sector but also in sectors such as the software industry and Internet services,” said our academic referent.
To end an intense academic month, Ernesto Mislej participated as speaker in the Workshop on Systems Engineering and Information Technologies (WISIT 2015). An interesting space of communication, discussion and encounter was created between students, teachers, researchers and professionals of the area oriented to innovation and research.
“7Puentes is always present as a sponsor and by giving lectures on Big Data and Data Science on WISIT Workshops”– Nicolas Passerini, Chairman WISIT15 Workshop.
Once again, 7Puentes shows its constant commitment to the last trends in the academy and industry.
